The prostate is

Roots Of Inheriting
The accumulation
of genetic mutations can cause malfunctioning of cell growth and can also
become a tumour. These mutations are also the main reasons for errors during
the copying of genes. This type of mutations is called as somatic mutations.
But the risk line occurs when this type of mutations occurs in germline cells
or during the formation of sperms; it can be subsequently passed from parent to
child and can be continued to many generations. A mutation occurring at the
germline can be called hereditary and may cause a sporadic form of the disease.
In every human
body, there are exactly two copies of every gene except the sex chromosome. One
gene comes from the mother and the other copy comes from the father. Here the
magic begins; if the any of these copies are defective or cancer affected then
the resultant gene will be abnormal and the tumour may be detected and if both
of them are normal, no illness will come forward. If the father’s or mother’s
copy is defected or affected by cancer then there will 50% chances.

that RNASEL is a gene that makes enzyme for the prostate gland. In the case of
men with hereditary prostate cancer, there is a major role of this gene. In
some cases, it has been noticed that the first copy of this gene remains normal
and functions perfectly while the other one can be a defective copy of the
RNASEL gene which may have been inactivated during the time.
